Rose's hair is long and starting to break from too much damage. Regular bleaching and bright color dying has left her hair frail and beyond repair. Rose finger brushes through her long hair to show how much it's grown and the difference between the healthy top layer and the fried bottom layer.
BJx comes in to help Rose section and cut her hair. He pulls up the top layer up and parts the healthy long hair from the straw like burnt bottom layer. With the silky soft hair pulled out of the way, BJx starts to snip and cut away at the bottom layer. He cuts it short into an uneven bob as he hacks it off from the ponytail.
The fried hair falls away in chunks as BJx takes a trimming razor to Rose's hair and cuts even more of it off. He shaves the base of her neck and begins to stack the damaged layers down to the healthy, virgin hair. When the layers are just a choppy bobbed stack, BJ evens out the layers so Rose can finish up and wash off.
