I got my hands (or should I say - heels) on the new Polo for a weekend. It has automatic gearbox, but it was very fun to drive, as I tested it to its limits. Flooring the gas pedal makes it sound like a sportscar, but when hard braking on dry tarmac you can hear ABS rattling.
Additional bonus - Polo's footwell allows more light than my BMW, so the camera had excellent view of my pedalwork.
