Ruby has cooked a very high-calorie sumptuous meal for feedee Betsy , consisting of 6 poached eggs swimming in butter, cream, and cheese on buttered English muffins, beef stew, and strawberry whipped cream cake. But before Betsy starts eating, they need to measure her burgeoning belly, so they can compare the number to what it is when she finishes her feast. After the measuring, Ruby sits down at the table opposite Betsy , and describes the food on each of the platters. Afterwards, she exits the room and leaves Betsy to enjoy the delicious food, and fantasize about how much bigger her bulging belly will get by the end of her repast.
