You lie back... and I run through the roleplay CPR scenario. I begin by checking for a heartbeat by pressing my ear to your chest, then I announce that you need assistance before beginning to administer chest compressions and mouth to mouth. I repeat several cycles, trying my best to focus on the task at hand. I have another listen to your chest and proclaim that you've got a pulse and are breathing again before putting an AMBU mask and bag to your face to continue to help you breathe.

That was a bit weird for me, I explain... I don't get much practice on adults. But I'm grateful for the experience.
