This made the boots very expensive as so much leather was used, also in order to achieve all of the ruffles, soft lambskin had to be used and this also added immensly to the cost of an already expensive set of boots. As the boots were expensive they were offered in smaller sizes only which was perfect for my EUR 36.5 U.S 5.5 petite feet.

Due to the design the top of the boots were also very tight as the ruffles bound into the leg, meaning that for a lot of people they would just not fit over their calves.

Luckily for you I keep my body, especially my legs in tip top condition, so I was thrilled when I tried these boots on and they fitted like a glove.
