I walk around the room and it looks normal. I decide to leave one of my sneakers in the room and leave. I walk into the house and talk out loud about how I’m housesitting for a friend who told me about a room with a “powerful ghost” in it that stole her shoe. I decide to go and investigate. I walk around the room and it looks normal. I decide to leave one of my sneakers in the room and leave. While I’m outside, I pose wearing just one shoe, taunting the ghost, asking if it wants my shoe. “All you have to do is reach out and take it”. I walk back into the room and it’s still there. I’m not surprised (I didn’t really believe in the ‘ghost’), but I’m a little disappointed. I look away for a moment, and when I look back, the shoe is gone! I’m very excited, checking all around the room but I can’t find it anywhere. I have to leave now but I say out loud “I’ll be back with more shoes next time!” Then I walk out of the front door, annoyed that I have to walk home with one shoe on, but amazed at what happened.
