Luna and Candle are outside for a day of gardening. They find a strange box with an odd looking locket inside. As Luna is holding it, she feels very odd. Candle offers to run inside and grab her some water.

While she is waiting, Luna starts getting very itchy. She strips off her sundress and digs her hands in her flesh. The scratching does not seem to help. Candle notices that she looks a little yellow and goes to look for some ointment.

She could not find the ointment anywhere and goes to search for it more. Luna ends up having a harder and harder time moving. Her movements become very rigid until she cannot move at all.

Candle arrives upon her friend who has turned into a solid gold statue and has no idea how to help. There is no way that she could pick up a solid piece of metal! A lovely day in the garden turned into a lifetime!
