She goes to the cupboard and retrieves them, then follows instructions to zip tie her ankles, gag herself with duct tape, then secure her wrists behind her back with another tie. When she is helpless, the hacker says he has just taken all her money. Her phone then stops working; evidently, the hacker has compromised the phone' software. When Jamie tries to call the police, the phone no longer works. She is trapped and unable to summon help.
