A credit score is a uniquely American tool of white supremacy. Though invented in the hopes of enabling racial equity, the credit system in this country has effectively prohibited Black folx from maintaining wealth in the country they built. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that you ruin your credit in service of Black Liberation. Redistributing that generational wealth is only a drop in the bucket of reparations, but it’s drop that will hurt your wallet for years to come.
