Part 1
This clip starts with immediate action! There is resuscitation going on in the ICU on a female patient, Dr. Nicky and nurses Eve and Jade work feverishly on the patient with CPR and defib. Dr. Nicky says there are no side effects if anyone touches the patient during the defibrillation. She touches the patient during defib with no side effects. She encourages Jade to try it. Jade also touches the patient during the next defib, but she feels the electricity in her body. She starts feeling strange and leaves the room. Part 1
This clip starts with immediate action! There is resuscitation going on in the ICU on a female patient, Dr. Nicky and nurses Eve and Jade work feverishly on the patient with CPR and defib. Dr. Nicky says there are no side effects if anyone touches the patient during the defibrillation. She touches the patient during defib with no side effects. She encourages Jade to try it. Jade also touches the patient during the next defib, but she feels the electricity in her body. She starts feeling strange and leaves the room. She goes in an empty ER and starts listening to her own heartbeat with her steth and starts hooking herself up to the heart monitor to check her own ECG. Nicky steps in too and helps her. They perform a 12 lead rest ECG on Jade and when Dr. Nicky checks the results and calls help immediately because she realises Jade’s heart beat is irregular. They must perform a synchronised cardioversion on her immediately. They place the O2 mask onto her face. As a fellow medical colleague Jade knows what is going on. So they helps wants to stay conscious during treatment. The defibrillator is charged and Jade is reacting after the cycle with no result. They continue it with another round, but with no response. Jade complains about breathlessness and....

Part 2
Following a third cycle Jade’s heart goes to Vfib. The med team start feverishly working on their colleague. They start CPR with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response. They continue CPR and suddenly Jade’s pulse comes back to sinus but her heart rate is very high and her breathing is infrequent. The med team calls her name and tries to keep her alert. They perform another cardioversion with the defibrillator but There is no response. They check her BP and all vital signs when suddenly her heart goes back to Vfib again. A dramatic resus scene begins with many cycles of CPR and deep and strong chest compressions, ambu baggings and defibrillations with realistic reactions. After many cycles, finally the patient’s pulse returns to normal sinus rhythm, and now all of them can cool down.
