Nurses Tess and Asia have just finished their shift. They talk and joke in front of the bed where they rescued a patient shortly before. Asia asked Tess if she wants to play with the defibrillator. Tess isn't convinced, but she eventually agrees. She lies down on the table, Asia places the plates on her chest and she feels the shock. Tess checks her pulse by placing her fingers on Asia's neck, she checks her breathing with her ear on her mouth, but she feels nothing, so she calls the doctor. The two rescuers begin CPR. Asia's chest compressions alternate with AMBU bagging. The ECG electrodes are connected to the monitor and the alarm signal fills the room. The shocks from the defibrillator also shake Asia's body. The cycles follow each other, while Tess continues to call and encourage her friend. After several attempts Asia finally recovers.
