A fun night with a very flat tyre.

This time we use the same tyre again, putting it on and lowering it to the ground. We drive away on the trashed tyre.

A fun night with a very flat tyre.

In June last year we took a trip with a tyre, letting the air out slowly and then riding on it until the sidewalls broke. Look at the movie Flat front tyre trashed part 1

This time we use the same tyre again, putting it on and lowering it to the ground. We drive away on the trashed tyre.
Camera is on selfie-stick to get close to the tyre for good close-ups. We make three stops, taking still pictures from the more and more trashed tyre. Between the stops there is almost the complete drive in the movie, where you can see the tyre crumble under the rim, more and more.

Finally it's almost falling of the rim when we do the last stop. There we drive a bit back and forth, cut the last pieces loose, watching the tyre roll up around the rim. This drive was 8.8 km on the flat tyre.

When finished we loosened the lug nuts... to find out that the anti-theft-nut is missing. We can't find it anywhere...
We had it when we fitted the tyre earlier... I must have forgotten it on the nut in the tyre. Looking through the shoot movies I find it on the nut and also where we dropped it.

So... What to do? Call for towtruck? At 1.30 AM? No, shuldn't think so...
Drive on the rim back and search for the adapter?

Of course, we drive on the rim back. All 8.8 km.
So we drove all the way back just on the rim, with just some rubber bits keeping the aluminiumrim from the asphalt.

We found the adapter in the side of the road and changed to the regular tyre.
