Mrs Stern is nit impressed to be dragged out of her bed and scolds both girls before having them bend over the punishment stool one at a time for the required 12 strokes, The girls find this so very painful but count themselves lucky that they haven’t been caned on the bare. Sadly, their deceit is discovered and instead of 12 strokes they both get 36! A painful punishment.
