When it is time to end their stay at the house Laverne tells Shirley not to tell Alex that they are leaving because he seems strangely attached to her. Shirley agrees to keep their leaving a secret, but she accidentally mentions it to Alex. The house then sets up a way to keep the girls in the house. He surprises them by sending his black electric cords to bind them into tight ball ties. The girls are taken by surprise by the house and end up tied up and gagged next to each other on the floor. The try to call out for help, but their gags are too tight and Alex has the house on lock down. Fortunately, Alex must shut down and reboot with new programming. While he is shut down, the girls struggle the best they can to get free. This is their only chance to escape! They remove their shoes and use their bare feet and toes to work the ropes free.
