After checking out the garage, I'm already fed up of my boyfriends collection of cars, I call him to ask what I can take that will get me there safely, I'm still in my PJs and do not want to be left stranded wearing them!

The car begins to sound like it wants to go, spluttering, coughing then starting up, the engine runs just about long enough for me to get it into gear before it stalls again.
What follows is a long spluttery battle the get the car started early one morning.
