Lilli ha rinchiuso la sua vittima in una gabbia strettissima, munita di polsiere e cavigliere in acciaio, di collare a vite per bloccare il collo. La fine. Questo verme può percepire chiaramente l'ineluttabilità del momento come la percepirete voi! Si dimena e tenta di liberarsi mentre Lilli ghigna sadica e lo denigra, pronta a fare di lui un inerme corpo morto. Lilli afferra la sua vittima per il collo ed inizia un sadico giochino, come un gatto col topo. Il gatto sa che il topo non potrà mai scappargli dagli artigli, ma lo lascia andare lo stesso, perché si diverte a leggere nei suoi squittii la speranza della salvezza, ed infrangerla. E così fa Lilli sentendo gemere il povero malcapitato. I rari momenti in cui lo lascia respirare sono solo il sadico divertimento della speranza lasciata intravvedere e poi negata.
