Irish Essie returns home way after her curfew. Knowing she'll be grounded for being late, she sneaks in through a window instead. But she doesn't realise that someone was expecting this and has booby trapped her route back into the house.

Essie climbs in through the window and sits on the ledge, feeling pleased with herself. She can smell something burning, but doesn't realise it's her buns, as the radiator under the window ledge has been turned to maximum heat. Essie leaps in the air with a yell, then clutches her hand over mouth so she doesn't wake anyone else up. She hops silent...

Essie climbs in through the window and sits on the ledge, feeling pleased with herself. Essie leaps in the air with a yell, then clutches her hand over mouth so she doesn't wake anyone else up. She hops silently on the spot, rubbing her burnt bottom.

Essie decides to get to bed before she gets caught, but the prankster has sprinkled Lego bricks all over the floor, and Essie's bare feet keep standing on them. With her hand over her mouth, Essie tries to creep through the Lego minefield, but there's just too much of it, and she has to turn back. Next she tries going around the Lego, but steps right on a mousetrap instead. With another yell, Essie hops around with the mousetrap on her toes. She sits to remove it, but forgets she's sitting on the radiator again, and is soon leaping up with another burnt bum.

Things don't get any better for Essie, as she backs right into a cactus, leaving her with a bottom full of cactus needles. Essie kneels on the sofa, and removes them one at a time, with lots of funny faces and yells of pain as she plucks the needles from her poor butt cheeks. Once they're all out, Essie decides to get to bed as she's definitely made enough noise to wake the whole house by now.

Running for the door, she forgets about the Lego, until her poor bare feet stand on it yet again.
