Crystal enters the back ballroom of the dance studio to check out some dance gowns that are being given away. She's eager to perform and compete in the dance community and hopes that a showy, beautiful dress will make her stand out. As she checks out the various options, the power inexplicably goes out. A single, dimmer light comes on a few seconds later, and a mysterious black coat has now appeared on the rack.

Crystal, deciding not to worry, and giving into her love of black clothes, decides to try on the coat as well. When she tries to take it off its hanger, a pair of high heel...

Crystal, deciding not to worry, and giving into her love of black clothes, decides to try on the coat as well. When she tries to take it off its hanger, a pair of high heels fall out of it. Again, deciding not to worry, Crystal kicks them aside and tries the coat on. She likes it. As she muses over whether she can take both the coat and one of the dresses, she feels a sharp pain in her chest. Soon, she falls to the floor and twitches until she loses consciousness. The coat then begins to consume her, inch by inch, until there's nothing left but the high heels that had slipped off her feet.
