[This part in brackets is the setup for this clip... skip it if you don't care and just want to read the clip's actual contents. You stood in the chamber – years of research led to the point. The last several hundred tests on mammals worked flawlessly, but you know getting approval for human trials is near impossible for a device with such strange implications. Shrinking technology is going to change the world – and what better way is there to show the world it's safety than to test it on yourself? You press the button, and machine begins rhythmically counting down from 60. You stand in the center of the device – heart fluttering despite your absolute confidence in success. 3... 2... 1... The machine hums, you retract your hand in startle as the static building in your body arcs to the cold metal walls, which retract away and grow in size at an alarming speed. When it all settles, you look where you expect to see hands – but they aren't there... you see the hard exoskeleton covered leg of an insect – it moves with your thoughts. You've literally become some sort of bug. When your assistant Maryana comes to clean the chamber before going home – you hitch a ride on her sock.]
Your assistant Maryana stretches as she wakes in the morning light. She rolls out of bed, planting her feet on the floor – you look up at the beautiful girl in little heart pajamas. She paces, stepping on the sock you emerged from only minute ago. Leaning against the window sill, she fails to realize when she's hovering her feet over you – or when she accidentally kicks you into the massive white sock. You gather your bearings just in time to see giant toes slowly stretching through the fabric opening – trapping you in the toe of her sock.
You squirm as she walks – and she feels the itch of your hard legs tickling at her toe, scratching the outside of her sock and peering inside to try to find the itch's source.
You manage to escape the sock... You stand on the rim of her sock, as she dangles her foot off the bed while watching videos on her phone. Feeling your tiny legs clinging to her skin, she itches – even not knowingly targeting you with her other foot.
You've climbed her leg... Standing on her knee you try to get her attention – literally no one else in the world could help you. Nobody understands the shrinking tech like you and Maryana do. Nobody.
She stands. You expect to fall, but your legs grasp onto her skin almost effortlessly. You had often dreamed of caressing her legs, but had always kept your relationship strictly professional. Continuing the climb, you reach her bellybutton. The salty taste of sweat permeates the air here, but you have to make her notice at any cost. Once she sees you, you'll find a way to prove you're not just an insect – she'll recognize you. The years of working together – you know she will.
You keep climbing to her shoulder – where you try to shout for help. Your words never leave – and your body emits the chirp of some tiny insect.
“Oh darn, what's that?” she says itching her shoulder, toppling you to the bed, far below. She leans forward, trying to find the culprit of her irritation. Her eyes meet yours, and all your cries and explanations are only the chirps of some tiny disgusting creature. “ Ew. What is that? Oh.... nooo. ” She smacks you with her thumb. When that fails to completely squish you, she gets up – returning with a curled up magazine to finish the job.
